iPhone 3G now jailbroken

It looks like the iPhone-dev team has been hard at work finding ways to make the iPhone more accessible. They've just posted a video showing off the world's first jailbroken iPhone 3G.

According to the iPhone-dev team, the video below shows off "the world s first jailbroken iPhone 3G running our own software (emphasis theirs)." A release of the jailbreaking software hasn't been made yet, but the team assures readers of their blog that they are "working very hard," presumably at perfecting the process.
