Activating the iphone without AT&T contract
I'm from South Africa and I am struggling to find definite information on the activation of the iphone.Can i buy the iphone online from apple with no contract and recieve a locked phone with no attached bs?Secondly I was wondering if i can then fully unlock this phone to work with other sim cards?Thanx

Yes, ZiPhone Activates/Unlocks/Jailbreaks meaning that it will activate the iPhone for you. If you don't want the DATA PLAN that ATT offers then after you ACTIVATE and JAILBREAK (you dont have to unlock), there is this app you can download which can disable EDGE service on your iphone.
I use that, and have ATT without the EDGE plan. |

well i dont like ziphone as much now i have tried it on both 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 and it does unlock but for jailbreaking it has some issues , so i used idemocracy 3.0 it was cool and easy to use more then ziphone i think it is much better,
coz i had jailbreak and unlocked my phone by do it all on ziphone but iphone browser was not detecting that it is jailbroken so i used idemocracy 3.0 and it showed me that my phone is not jailbroken as yet..... so i used jailbreak with it and now everything is working fine |
