It's been a while since homebrew developer jonz got around to update the
NES emulator app for the
iPhone, NES.app. However, with the recent release of firmware 2.0, it seems like the coder has decided to give the emulator some proper support following the new software update.
Those of you familiar with the emulator will find that a lot of the features as well as the interface are still the same. This new build includes the official port of the program for firmware 2.0. In addition, it also fixes the ROM indexing to help organize your list of games better.
Here's the list of changes made since
our previous coverage of NES.app:
- 2.2.0 [jonz] Port to 2.0
- 2.2.1 [jonz] Fixed ROM list index
As always,
don't forget to check out both the Readme and Changelog documentation files for more information regarding NES.app. You'll also find detailed information on how to install the program into your preferred Apple gadget.
